Life Hack for your Easter Egg Hunt

Instead of the free-for-all Egg Hunt, assign each child their own color to hunt!

1. You can set it up so each child will find the same number of eggs.
2. Older kids' eggs get hidden in more difficult places. Little ones can pluck theirs up from out in the open.
3. Eliminates wondering if you've found them all, to later discover decroded nastiness inside an egg during the dog days of summer.
4. Can customize candy, money, goodies according to age (each kid can get their favorite candy).

If your Easter Egg Hunt traditionally involves some competition, can give the golden egg to the child who finds all of their eggs first.

I know that Easter eggs are generally sold with one or two of each color in a package. But, with the eggs that come home from Sunday School, preschool, and other egg hunts, it only takes a few years of parenthood to amass vast quantities of Easter eggs. Or swap with the other parents you know. You'll have enough on hand by the time you have more than 1 child who knows what's really going on at an Easter Egg hunt.

I have found this to work really well with our boys. Give it a try and tell me how it went!
